1] I have forgotten my Password or ID or Nickname what to do?

Just click on the link to get your password emailed to you. FORGOT PASSWORD .

2] Why has my profile not been activated ? I have not received Activation Code via Email.

All profiles are reviewed and if you have followed the terms and conditions should be activated within 24 hours. In the meantime feel free to login and browse the site. You will receive an email confirming the activation process.
If you did not provide us with a valid email address you will not have been able to receive the activation code or any correspondence from us, thus will not be able to complete the profile activation process.
If the activation process is not complete you will not be able to use all features on the site like send emails to members or do a search .
However you can always LOGIN [You can login without your profile being activated] and alter the email address to a valid email address so that your profile can be activated. All profiles without valid email addresses are deleted.

Activation code: Usually the email with the activation code takes about 5 minutes to reach your inbox.

But some reasons for it getting . Delayed or not arriving are.

1]You have a spam filter which is blocking our email address.
2]Check your BULK mail or JUNK mail or SPAM mail folders As we do send out large number of emails due to the large number of members registered on our site and thus your email client may mistakenly send it to the bulk mail folder.
3]You have not provided us with a valid email address. You can recheck this by logging in.
4]You by mistake entered an invalid email address.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ADDED admin@kissndate.com TO YOUR ALLOW LIST OR CONTACTS LISTS.




3] WHY HAS MY PROFILE BEEN REJECTED?
HOW DO I GET MY REJECTED PROFILE APPROVED ?

Common reasons for your profile being rejected...............

1] Invalid email address. Please make sure the email address is valid.
2] Profiles contain Sexually explicit, vulgar, or obscene language.
3] Inadequate profile information.
4] Uploaded picture is not yours or is not clear.
5] After approval you have spammed the site.
6] You have sent scam emails.
7] You have tried referring our users to different sites.
8] Your email address was present in your profile description or other inappropriate place.
9] You have insisted to our users they communicate with you only via your private email address
10] We have reason to believe your profile is not genuine thus the additional verification process steps needed.

HOW DO I GET MY REJECTED PROFILE APPROVED ?

Please help us make sure that all profiles on kissndate.com are 100% geniune.
1]Please upload some more pictures of yourself. When you take the picture hold up a piece of paper infront of you. With " Kissndate.COM " written on it this way we will know the photo is geniune. This is the best way to get approved immediately.
2]Chat to us online with your webcam at kissndate@yahoo.co.uk .
3]If you donot want to put photos on the site than email us with the information we have requested kissndate@gmail.com.
4] Or Write us a detailed letter explaining why you cannot do the above when even mobile phones have cameras nowadays. We sincerely hope you understand our efforts to make sure all users on the site geniune.


Please note if we donot recieve any reply from you within 7 days your profile will be deleted and may be added to the scammer list.

4] HOW TO USE THE NEW INSTANT MESSENGER IN EASY STEPS?

To use NEW INSTANT MESSENGER login into your control panel and than click on Launch Underneath contacts.
For more information on how to use the new Instant Messenger Click here.

1] You need to be logged in to use instant messenger.
2]If you see a profile who is online of course and you would like to exchange instant messages with click on the "CHAT NOW" button.



3]You will get the following message "User was added to the instant messenger" .
4]You can only chat online if the user is online at that particular time.
5]Once user has been added to your instant messenger find "Launch messenger" in the control panel.

6]The users who have been added to the Instant Messenger list will be seen in the INSTANT MESSENGER window.
7]If the user is online it will say so and just click on the nickname you have added to start chatting.
8]If there is no response than the other user may have just logged of or may have blocked you or they need to add you to their INSTANT MESSENGER LIST.


5] Login problems or Cannot Log out problems.

Once you have registered on the site you need to Enable Cookies.
Once you have enable cookies close the browser and restart it and than try loggin in again. If you have any problems email us.
If you are having problems logging out go to Tools , Internet Options in your browser and delete all cookies and than refresh the browser and try logging out again should work this time.


6] Zipcode/Postcode search problems ?

Currently implemented for the United Kingdom and USA. Other countries to follow.
The minimum search radius is 50 miles if you enter a lower figure it will default to showing up all profiles in the country you have selected.
If the zipcode/postcode search are not bring back any results We suggest just to try the search without the zipcode/postcode. You also can use the advanced search where you can specify country, state, city among other things. This is being looked into at the moment. Thank you for your patience.

7] How do I find out WHO HAS VIEWED MY PROFILE or who's PROFILE I have viewed or who has sent me kisses ?

All this information is stored in the COMMUNICATOR section. When you login you are taken to the MEMBER PANEL. On the left hand side is the MEMBER MENU. In the MEMBER MENU there is a button called Communicator . Click on this button and that will take you to the communicator section. In the communicator section the following information is available.

a] A list of Who has viewed your profile and also profiles you have viewed.
b] A list of Members who have hotlisted you and those you have hotlisted.
c] A list of Members who have added you to their friends list and those on your friends list.
d] A list of Members who you have blocked and Members who have blocked you.
e] A list of Members Who you have contacted and Members who have contacted you.
f] Private photo passwords requests by you and from members to you.





8] How to report scam emails ?

If you are logged in and viewing a profile on the left hand side there will be the Member Menu and beneath it the Friend menu. In the Friend menu right at the bottom find a button for spam report. Clicking on this button will report whichever member you are viewing at to us as spam. Or email us at kissndate@gmail.com . We immediately delete such profiles.

9] How do I suspend my profile?

When you login in you see the control panel and there under "member info" you can see your profile status, there by clicking on "suspend" you can make your account totally invisible which is as good as being deleted. And if you want to activate it later you just login and click on the activate button.

10] How to check my email or messages ? or as a user asked Why is there no place to click in communicator to see if there is e-mail ?

To check your messages all you need to do when you log in is click on " (go to inbox)" . That will take you to your inbox where you can read the messages you have recieved or sent. See image below.


11] Why has my email and contact telephone number been deleted from the profile description ?

Please donot post your contact information in your profile description. You risk your profile being deleted or disqualified. If we do publish your profile we delete such information. The reason is for your own protection. As there are a lot of scammers and con artists out there who will start scamming you or trying to trick you so be very careful.

12] Why cannot I sometimes access the site. Why is the site slow to respond ?

We carry out regular maintenance work on the site and at these times the site for short periods will be inaccessible. In most cases trying about 10 to 20 minutes later you will find the site is back online. The rate a which the site downloads depends on your internet connection speed. This site has a lot of pictures thus if you have a slow download speed it will take some time for the pictures to download.

13] I am receiving scam emails what to do?

Please contact us with profile ID or nickname of the person who has sent you such emails immediately at kissndate@gmail.com We immediately delete such profiles.

14] Can I change my profile details ? How do I edit my profile details?

Yes you can edit or change your profile details. When you log in you will go to the member panel there click on My Profile will take you to your profile form where you should be able to edit your details. After you are done Click submit. Please remember Your profile will than be set to approval mode and after review by our team will be activated.

15] I have entered the wrong sex how to I change it?

Please refer to the answer immediately above.

15]How to use the CHAT rooms ?

You will need to register. Once registered LOGIN using your nickname or email and password. In the kissndate.com Member Panel on the left hand side find the CHAT button under MEMBER MENU and click on it you will automatically enter the chat rooms. If you have any problems contact us. Please note we have disabled the chat rooms temporarily. You can still chat to users online using the INSTANT MESSENGER.


16] Having problems signing up?

The following profile fields are MANDATORY, So please make sure you have filled them.
1) Nickname must be unique and from 2 to 20 characters long.
2) Your real name is required.
3) Your city is required.
4) Martial status.
5) Your zip/postal code is required.
6) Headline must be at least 2 characters long.
7) Description must be at least 10 characters long.
8) E-mail address doesn't seem to be valid or E-mail confirmation failed or E-mail used by another member.
9) Password must be from 5 to 8 characters long or password confirmation failed.

17] How do I BLOCK a member ?

To block a particular member you will need to be logged in. After you have logged in find that members profile and open in. On the left hand side there are two MENUS. The one on the top is MEMBER MENU and below it is the Friend Menu. In the Friend Menu there is a button called BLOCK MEMBER just click on it and you will have blocked that member.

18] How to view private photos?

You will need to request the user to send you the password they have chosen. You can do this by clicking on submit request or sending them an email and asking for it.

19] New to online dating. How do I use the site?

All features will become available once your profile is activated this is usually done within 24 hours. If you have never done online dating before I would suggest that you click on the pictures you like and than click on the contact button once you are in the members profile and write an email and send it off. If the other person likes you they will reply and there you go you have started dating online.

20] How to access advanced search features for example search useronline etc?

You can access advanced search features by clicking on SEARCH in the main menu between CHAT and RATE.

21] I have received an email telling me I have received a message, but when I check my inbox there is no message, what is happening?

We sometimes get spammers on the site who email almost everybody on the site with emails with the intention of cheating you. We immediately delete such profile and when the profile is deleted all emails sent by the spammer profile are also deleted. Thus when you do log in to check your mail there is no mail. Thus if you cannot see a message in the inbox after you received an email telling you that you have a new message donot worry.
Now we have no way as yet of looking into the mind of our website users and telling whether they will spam our site or not. We believe in innocent until proven guilty.

When a message is send on kissndate.com an email is automatically send to the recipients email address [the address you signed up with] informing them they have received a message. Once the message is in your email box [example yahoo or hotmail inbox] we have not control of it you will be glad to know. Now if you have a better idea as how to stop this from happening or some special mind reading software [for a reasonable price of course :-) ] We would be delighted to look into it. But in the meantime please bear with us.


22] How do I stop receiving email from the site?

Login into your account and go to the control panel. There click on My Profile which is second on the list in the member menu. In your profile details find "Contact information" , there in "Notify me about news, tips" select the "Do Not Notify Me " button. That is it this will stop email alerts from us being send to you. We however advise you not to do this as you many miss some important information.

23] How do I enter the CHAT ROOMS?

Login into your account and go to the control panel. There click on CHAT which is about 8th on the list on the left hand side in the member menu. Just click on chat and start chatting away. Please note before you can use the chat feature your profile will have to be activated. Usually within 24 hours. But if you do have a problem contact us we are online most of the time.

24] How do I start blogging ?

Blog is a term used to describe a journal (online diary) made availiable on the Internet/web by any individual. Blogging is the active updating of a blog.

Now all kissndate members can maintain a blog. Step by step guide to get started

A] Login into your account a go to the control panel.
B] On the left hand side under Member Menu scroll down till you find the "My Blog" button and click on it.
C] In the subject area type in a headline and than below it start you diary.
D] Than once done decide whether you want your blog to be public, or friends only or private. Once you have selected one of these options. Click on Add comment. And that is it you have started a blog.
E] We recommend you set it to public so other users will be able to read it and get to know you better.


25] Which web browser to use?

The simple answer is any. But to take full advantage of all features on the site get the latest version of whichever browser you are using. The best web browser currently would be Mozilla Firefox Mozillafirefox . This is a free program and a very small size so easy to download, try it, it is great and very secure.


26] How do I delete my profile?

We are always sad to see members leave if there is a particular reason you are leaving for let us know first we may be able to fix it.
Instead of deleting your profile you can use the SUSPEND option. When you login in you see the control panel and there under "member info" you can see your profile status, there by clicking on "suspend" you can make your account totally invisible which is as good as being deleted.
But if you have decided you really want to leave us totally than email us with your sign ID, Email, and Nickname.

27] How to search for words or sentences in the profile description section or in other words how to find out what people have written about themselves ?

To use it you will need to go to the advanced search menu. This is present between CHAT and RATE at the top of your screen called SEARCH. In advanced search if you go to extended search you will find the DESCRIPTION row with a text box which will allow you to enter free text which should allow you to find out what people have written in their profiles.


28] How to upload video ?

Video files come in different formats we at present allow you to upload video files with the .avi extensions. You can tried mpg mpeg WMV but not sure they will work. Most other formats like .wmv .mpeg etc are allowed and most probably will work with out any problems.

29] Why have we deleted profiles? Common reasons listed below.

1] The user was upto no good for example like trying to scam members or spam the site.

2] The profile information contained inappropriate language thus profile deleted.

3] Email address was given in profile information thus profile deleted.

4] Inappropriate photos submitted thus profile deleted. This is increasingly becoming a common reason. We will delete a PROFILE that contains:
• A photo that doesn't include you
• Cartoons
• Any nudity
• Drawings and Paintings
• Famous people
• Copyrighted images
• Closeups of tattoos or piercings
• Funny internet photos
• Baby / Childhood photos
• Pets, Cars, Scenery etc.


30] Uploading pictures and THUMBNAILS.

To upload pictures one you are in the CONTROL PANEL click on Upload Photos from there on the process if pretty straight forward. Just click on the browse button and upload your pictures.

UPLOADING THUMBNAILS this seems to have caused some confusion.
Whatever picture you upload for "Picture 1:" automatically get resized and becomes the thumbnail.
If you delete the thumbnail and want to choose a different one you will need to UPLOAD picture 1 again. As this gets automatically set to the thumbnail. There is not facility to directly upload a thumbnail.
